Here is a blog post that comes from my heart.
In roughly 2 more hours it will be Christmas; the day that I will wait for, every year. I only have until 11.59pm to make my this year's Christmas wish.
Actually, I had long prepared my christmas wish, that is until I decided to change it. I would have wished for love this year. I want not any other love, but a love that comes from the heart. I want not any other guy, but just him. However, as Christmas draws nearer, I am starting to be afraid of the disappointment my wish would bring about. Apart from my family and friends, be it whether I am attached or single, I have spent my last 17 Christmas with a lonely heart. Yet, Christmas is still the day that I will wait for every year. It is the Christmas spirit that I see in everyone hearts that keeps my love for Christmas alive.
Just this one day in the year, the whole world would be in harmony. The joy in children's eyes, the way the old folks smiles, the magic in the air, the sweet happy tears that drop from my eyes as I write this post, this is the love of Christmas.
Not long ago, I heard this song "The Christmas Shoes". It made me changed my wish. Its lyrics tells a beautiful christmas story. This is how it goes-

Instead of asking for love, why not give love. Christmas is all about giving, isn't that why on this day, love, joy and peace would exists together harmoniously. Afterall love is not love until it is given away. Christmas is love and it comes from the heart. So this year, apart from keeping disappointment away from me, I do not want to wish for myself this year. I want to wish for the world.
Dearest Santa, this christmas I am wishing for peace, love, joy and laughter in everybody's hearts.
