My heart has never felt so painful before. My mind is in a whirl. I have never felt so afraid of what is to come next. I do not know what to do, I am very lost. I feel so useless and helpless just seeing her suffering in pain. When she cries, I can only cry by her side. She never once complains about her life, Audrey is always a good girl. She is the first being that ever loved me more than she loves herself.

Audrey is still a puppy. She just only passed 8 months old, yet she has to suffer so much in her life. I do not know what is up with operations and my family. In only a month, there was my grandfather, my mother and next in line would be Audrey. She is suffering from a genetic condition, in which one side of her hip is dislocated, while the other side is too compressed. This explains why Audrey is always limping on her right leg. Recently, her limp got worst and with every few steps she takes she will fall onto the ground.

Audrey stayed at the hospital the whole day, undergoing lots of X rays and tests. The Vet told my mummy that Audrey had been suffering quietly in pain over her hip condition. It is no wonder why Audrey was always so weak.

7 January would be her third operation already. This time, she would have to check into the hospital. Almost half her body would be cut open for this operation. This hip problem could be her burden for the rest of her 10 years.

I'm praying very hard for as successful operation for her. I would give up anything just to see her healthily running playfully around like all the rest of the puppies out there. I want to give her next 10 years of life, the happiest that anyone could ever give.
