Yesterday marathon was AWESOME! I really do love running. 10k is neither long nor short; it isn't about the distance but the sense of pride and accomplishment I had in myself during the run. Although I am a little disappointed for not completing my run in an hour, but who cares, I had just completed my first marathon! There will be many more for me to go. :D
My last km of the run was the most torturous. My legs felt like it could just break apart anytime. However, giving up and walk cannot be an option for me. In the end I perservered, kept encouraging myself and ran all the way through the finishing. At the end of the marathon, although inherited a painful right knee cap, I feel so much more mentally stronger! :) Happy, happy, happy me.
Had lunch at Marina Square with girlfriends, before going home and falling into deep sleep.
